Cris Fuller, LCMHCA
Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate
Life is a challenge! I believe everyone experiences the world through their unique lens, and no one counseling technique will work with everyone. Sometimes all we need is for someone to see, hear, and accept us. Sometimes we need strategies, techniques, and a little nudge to try something different. I hope to provide a non-judgmental, safe space to navigate life’s challenges and accompany you on your journey to find the life you will love.

As a gymnastics coach for over 20 years I have seen firsthand the effects of anxiety on athletes and how it affects their performance. As a parent, I navigated the teen years with my children watching as they dealt with school and social challenges, body image issues, and anxiety through a pandemic. These unique experiences have prepared me to work with adolescents, teens and young adults as they struggle to discover who they are and where they fit in the world. I specialize in working with competitive athletes struggling with mental blocks and performance anxiety but also generalized anxiety and depression among adolescents and young adults.
As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate I am required to be supervised by a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor or Licensed Clinical Social Worker. My supervisor is Shannon Staiger, LCMHCS and can be reached at 919-630-5668. As part of my supervision I will participate in case consultation periodically for training purposes.
