I have experience providing group and individual therapy for children, adolescents, and adults who have experienced anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, trauma, family and relationship issues, self-harm, perfectionism, body image and self-esteem issues, disordered eating, control issues, and difficulties related to adjustment/transition. I utilize a client-centered, eclectic approach that incorporates principles of ACT, DBT, CBT, Existential Therapy, Mindfulness, and Solution-Focused Therapy to explore barriers to change and create a unique treatment plan that works best for each individual.
As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate I am required to be supervised by a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor or Licensed Clinical Social Worker. My supervisor is Shannon Staiger, LCMHCS and can be reached at 919-630-5668. As part of my supervision I will participate in case consultation periodically for training purposes.
